Travel wear
When you are travelling the most important thing is comfort and functionality. When on a long trip it is important that the clothes you wear are comfortable rather than fashionable. What may be ideal for a day at the mall or a visit to the art gallery isn’t necessarily right for when you are travelling.
If you are travelling in the summer your clothes should make you feel cool and light. So dressing in a t-shirt or blouse and shorts or thin pants would be ideal. You could also wear sneakers or sandals and flip-flops. However wearing jeans while travelling in summer could become problematic as the day goes on and the fabric tends to stick to your body with the heat.
Travelling in the winter requires you to travel with a few extra pairs of warm clothing in case the place where you’re headed has a storm or rains. It would be excessively uncomfortable if you travel only with light clothing and are then stuck in a blizzard or storm. It is always better to be adequately protected and to be on the safe side.
In case you are going camping or hiking it is necessary to wear boots so that you do not have any problems while climbing mountains or cliffs. In case you are going to the beach be sure to carry extra pairs of clothing because you will often swim in the sea and you do not want to run out of dry clothes to wear. If you are going to a place where the weather is unpredictable it is advisable to carry a few extra clothes and a pullover or cardigan just in case it starts raining or becomes chilly.
If you are stuck with uncomfortable and unsuited clothes or footwear it can make a holiday rather an unpleasant experience. So remember to dress for comfort and functionality rather than fashion.
